Semiconductor resilience in Europe: ACEA support letter to Commissioner Breton

Oliver Zipse, President of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), wrote a letter to Thierry Breton, European Commissioner for the Internal Market, about the ongoing microchip shortage.
In the letter, the ACEA President reiterates the auto industry’s strong support for a concerted European initiative to enhance the EU’s future semiconductor manufacturing capability.
