ACEA Light Duty Vehicle AdBlue® Workshop
The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) has partnered with Integer Research to deliver a dedicated Light Duty Vehicle AdBlue® Workshop at the 11th Integer Emissions Summit & AdBlue® Forum Europe 16-18 June 2015 in Brussels, Belgium.
The ACEA Passenger Car AdBlue® Workshop (agenda below) is taking place on the afternoon of 18th June 2015, and includes free entry to the Integer passenger car sessions in the morning to selected ACEA invitees, giving you a full day of valuable insight into the latest market trends and developments.
Why this Workshop? Why now?
The development of the AdBlue® infrastructure for modern heavy-duty commercial vehicles equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) was a success story.
With the coming of the Euro 6 emission regulation for Light Duty Vehicles (LDV), the use of SCR on these vehicles will expand. The coming regulation on Real Driving Emissions (RDE) will likely require the use of SCR (and other technology) across most types of future passenger cars and vans in order to help meet NOx targets under RDE conditions. This means the demand for AdBlue® will quickly increase and we will need an AdBlue® refuelling infrastructure that is specific and convenient for drivers of passenger cars and vans.
Today, AdBlue® is available from bottles and canisters but this will not be convenient in the future. ACEA intends for AdBlue® to be available to drivers of passenger cars and vans from a dispenser sited next to the normal diesel pump.
It is imperative that all stakeholders come together to enable the timely roll-out of a convenient AdBlue® refuelling infrastructure at all public filling stations. This workshop will bring the important issues to the attention of member states, Brussels-based policy makers and industry representatives.
